You mean the oil pressure light? That's bad and I would remove your ground wires right now and fix it.

thanks for you guys. it seems like an oil level light, it's kinda like a kettle with a drop beside it.

Well you could have been creating the ground that the light needed to start out with and so it finally came on.
Or you could have the ground hooked up so that its grounding out a circuit creating a closed circuit for that light regardless of its reading.

Yeah, I checked the oil, it's acutally lower than it should be. Now it starting to make sence: the oil level light is not that bright compare with other indicate lights. So I guess it should turn on when the ground wire was not installed. The ground wire just made it more visible.

no.... oil light should never come on.. if it does SHUT THE ENGINE DOWN, AND DO NOT RUN IT WITH THAT LIGHT ON.. if you kept the engine going... YOU PROBABLY KILLLED YOUR BEARINGS....

oil light is not a level meter.. if its on IT MEANS YOU HAVE NOOOO OIL PRESSURE

NO OIL PRESSURE MEANS KILLED BEARINGS...IF you continued to run it..

pretty much OIL LIGHT means DEATH about 99% of the time.. if you dont shut it down right away..
