Ok I traded my ecu for my friends chipped/socketed P06 from phearable. I kept my chip for my setup, plugged it in, and my Cruise control light stays on for some reason. The cluster is from an auto 4dr EX. Is there any other way to get rid of it besides unplugging the green plug on the cluster? I'm just wondering why its doing this in my car but didn't in my friends Ex

Is it possible that his cruise light does not work. I haven't worked much with factory chipped ecu's but on most aftermarket engine management systems, you can program it to throw on different lights for different reasons. Possibly he don't have a cruise light and it was triggered the whole time??? Anything else start to work or not work differently?

 

Nothing else really. Just the cruise, my idle bounces a little, and the after the first drive my O2 CEL went off. Resetted it, and didn't come up again.

 

Ya, I just looked at some diagrams and that is officially weird. I have not clue on that one. Good luck with that.
