Default ok to fill different oil?

ok as some of you know, i had an oil spill problem which the gasket leaked and caused some oil to spill out. i changed the gasket etc and now i noticed that the oil levels reach up to the bottom hole on the dipstick. is that enough oil or am i low?

should i just go buy a bottle of motor oil and pour it in? if so how much should i fill and what brand should i get ;[ what kind etc. i have a d16y8 motor. thanks guys
ps im driving a distance tommorow so i need to know asap

err gauge oil between the two holes on the dipstick. use the same oil that you have in the car, should be 5w-30.

You don't have to buy Honda oil. Just go to Autozone, Kragen, etc.

Normal operating oil level will be between the two dots. The second (highest) dot is the limit. Anything below the first dot, add oil until you reach the top dot.

I would put oil in ASAP. You can buy oil at any gas station too.

The first dot and the second dot is about 1 qart difference. So if the oil is on the bottom hole then it will take about 1 quart to reach the top hole.

It's a little thin and won't hold up to high temps, but it'll work for now

Wanna swap post numbers? Dude, where do you post?

Yes, you could really buy 12 different kinds of non-synthetic 5w-30w, mix it all together, and use 4 qts in your engine, and have the same effect as using 'honda' oil.
