Climate Control Removal Help!!
I have a 92 honda civic and I've been trying to remove the climate control but it wont come out. I removed the two screws on the bottom front of the climate control, removed the one in center bottom, and removed the cable. I started pulling on it as hard as I could and it still wont come out. Is there anything Im missing?
You are missing the clips for the harness plugs. They are a bitch to unclip, but there's an easier way.
If you look below the climate control, you'll see where the climate control subharness connects to the dash harness. Unplug that. Then there's a bolt that holds the bottom of the dash to a dash bracket behind the ashtray console. Remove it to allow the bottom of the dash to come foward enough for you to slide the subharness plug out. After this, slide the climate control out.

Yeah, I know. When I did it the first time, I unclipped the bitch. Later on, I helped removed my friend's dash and found it simpler if you undid the subharness from the dash harness.
