Default jrsc b20vtec?

is this feasible? i wouldn't run over the stock 6psi. MAYBE a 30 shot for the track. that would be after good fuel and ignition upgrades. could the b20 pistons handle this? also i'd get the JRSC for the GSR, correct?

thanks and please give any insight in this.

thanks
spanky

stock internals. i dont have the money to build the block right now. i probably won't even mess w/ the 30 shot. ive been told by a very knowledgable source that b20 crank is balanced to 8k from honda, so it should be OK for stock revlimit. probably. if i stay w/ crvtec n/a i'll get skunk2 stage 2 cams and portflow inner and ITR outters, if i go w/ jrsc ill get the ITR exhaust cam only.

I don't think the JRSC can flow well enough for a 2 liter vtec engine, there was a long discussion about this in the FI forum a while back. The consensus was it wouldn't work as the supercharget wouldn't be able to keep up.

Do they make it for the B20/VTEC or just the B20.

It will flow perfectly fine for a B20/VTEC. If you're using a GS-R head, then yeah, get the one for the Geeser. But I'd say if you're going to do this, don't even consider using the stock B20B/Z pistons. Typically people will take the bore up from 84mm to 84.5mm. Probe racing makes a nice set with the propper valve releifs for a VTEC head. Also, you'd really be better off to save up more money and have the combustion chamber reworked on the head to accomodate the >84mm bore.

Bottom line is 6psi is 6psi, the .2L shouldn't make too big a difference.
