ight my car at around 2-3k rpm like misses or something and the people at auto zone told me that it was my ignitor in my distributor so i went and got 1 but i dunno how to put it in and i dunt wanna go to a shop an they take like 5 min but charge me lik 75$ so does anyone know how to put an ignitor into a distributor??

 

Take out the two bolts at points illustrated:

Unplug the wires and remove the ignitor and heat sink assembly..


You can replace it with the distributor still on the car..
Make sure the wire terminals fit tightly..if they are loose
slightly crimp them with needlenose or wire cutters..
