Question about oil pan . . .
your brain/eyes.
and if you were to dent the oil pan, you are either too low or can't correctly avoid large objects.
you can buy some underbraces which will catch before it hits the oil pan

Ohh . . . becuase I was pulling out of a plaza a little too fast and I hear a thunk as I was going down those driveway ramps. You think that would cause any serious damage? My car is at stock height, BTW.
^you probably hit the crossmember or something.
i mean you aren't leaking any oil so no worries. you can have a slightly dented oil pan (although i would replace it) and be fine.
now there are some cases of extreme dents which causes the oil pickup to get knocked around and won't properly work which means problems for your engine.
just jack up the car and check it out
