keys in the ignition reminder
Is there only one little noise maker thing for this.. or is it the same for the lights being left on too? I want to remove it but i was wondering if its just for the keys and where it is. Its starting to drive me nuts.
pretty sure there are 2 different ringing devices. My 92 accord beeps when the keys are still in the ignition and when the lights are left on it dings like a bell, and the sounds seem to be coming from different locations.
Although it may be different with your year model.

The door jamb switch is the little slider tab. you can bend up a coat hanger to pinch the switch off, while you hang out with the door open listening to the tunes. This will keep the car in stock condition so it's resale value is held up.
For cars that have the switch in the door latch, I have used a pencil to swivel the latch to the closed position, just remember to cycle the latch before closing the door.

Its ok.. i don't really care about the resale.. plus i'd keep it. I don't want to do that thing to the door because i already have problems with the button (the old lady who had it before me did something crazy to it and sometimes it leaves the light on and stuff.. i just adjusted it so its working normally) but i like having the lights come on when the doors open, i just hate the chime.

its mounted within the driver side kickpanel fusebox. its under the plastic covered area above the fuses, but below the relays. both are in there.
i had my car running without a dashboard, and tried unplugging every relay/box thing thats behind the dash... i can assure you, none of them are it.
