Default disc brakes for 92 hatchback

wasup people the crew and me were looking in to puting performance brakes on our civic. we are going to do change the complete brake system. what i wnat to ask what is the difference in using cross drilled disc and sloted disk. and which one would be more adequated for a drag racing

yes, search. but to start you off, they both vent heat, but with the slots, it also very lightly cleans/strips/deglazes etc. the surface layer of the friction material on the pad itself. side effect is the material can wear down slightly faster depending on how you drive. you also have to consider how the disc is made, meaning if it was a blank rotor that was drilled/machined or if it was cast with slots or holes in it from the start.
