Burning up a lot of oil

I recently did an oil change, and from the last time i filled up 4 quarts of Mobil 1 5w-30 fully synthetic in my gsr. The drained oil filled up only 2 quarts. Is this normal?

Check your oil level weekly, change your plugs, and switch to 10w30 if you are burning oil.

i change every 3,000 miles. I changed my plugs recently also. so i guess start using 10w30 from now on? I dont drive hard. Ive done a few canyon runs before but not a lot.

i burnd ab 1qt a day in my teg.. thats why its in my shop stripd.. hoping its the valve seals for me...cuz my leak down and comp checkd out unbeleivable ... so hope me luck!!
