Before even trying to swap a motor try mastering the English language.

You have alot of work in front of you. You have to convert the car to MPFI, decide if you want to use your cable transmission or the D15B hydro unit, decide if you want to convert to OBD1 or stay OBD0. There is also the issue of converting from Auto to Manual if you have that POS automatic transmission. These are all preliminary issues to consider prior to swapping and throwing money away *****-nilly, but I highly recommend doing some more research before going ghetto and posting hypothetical questions about something most people see you not doing. Honestly... I say do it, but beware the problems and the flames.

FYI, you will catch alot of crap (and some people may threaten your life) by referring to the trademark Honda displacement replacing power adder as VTECH, there is no H in that term as applies to the automotive industry. I thought you might already know this based on the timeframe you have been a member of H-T

holy **** grammar.

How are people supposed to help you when no one can understand you...

its spelled IMPORT since inport would be like sticking your power adapter into your vtec"h" phone.

Absolutely, rywire rocks, they helped a friend of mine convert from OBD0 DPFI in his 89 STD to OB0 MPFI/Vtec for his D15B for pretty cheap. I can only assume it would be cheaper (or at least as inexpensive) to convert to OBD1, but I have never checked myself.

i am happy with my rywire DPFI OBD0 -> JDMd15b OBD1.

Ryan is a great guy and the service is worth it if you have never swapped a motor before. In retrospect it isnt impossible to wire it, but it will take you a long time if you havent done it before.

ok thanks for the help. but i got to say to these a holes that just get on here to start a flaming thread then ok.. but i just wanted to help on this and you guys that just have a smart *** answer just need to go some where. Just remember this is honda tech and my friend is new to the scene and looking up to you guys to help him out so what ever you have to say to flame him just stop on the comments. just answer the question and if you dont have an answer keep the comments to your self because they are not helping. and i read the post and it was understandable. but the guys that actually helped thanks alot and hope you can answer more of his questions.
