Default oil seal replacement

my tranny is leaking near the axle, i was informed that it was the "oil seal" that needs to be replaced. i went to honda and got a new one. took a look in the book about it but i wasnt sure if i need to pop the tranny out. its the seal that is on the passenger side, where the axle is inserted. any help or tips will be appreciated.

Pop out the axle, pry out the old seal with a screw driver, and use a pvc pipe to tap the new one in evenly.

It will stop when its flush with the transmission. A 1"x2" peice of wood works too...layed flat across the seal, then tap it in.

Either jack it up on the side you are replacing
or just drain the trans if you need to change the fluid..
{Otherwise you will have a big mess..}
