Default cruise control

ive seen alot of preludes without cruise control. i dont use mines so i was wondering what does removing it do? or is it hard to remove it, if it does help? thanks

well removing it means..........no cruise control

it saves like 2 lb's and cleans up the engine bay a bit.

i'll keep mine just cause i use it on long roadtrips sometimes

Remove cruise control unit. Plug up vacuum hose.

how do i remove it is the problem. idk where to begin. and idk what to do with the vacum hose. im completely lost. can u explain?

well you just remove that cruise control part.........and any vaccum tubes you pull out just plug it up............its not that hard

Do you have a wrench?...or maybe a socket set? Just take it out, it's not hard.

thanks...i saw everything i have to take out. but then theres lines that go to a cylinder shaped thing under the cruise control and idk if to also take that thing out or just take the lines off of it?

everything is just vaccum. there is a plug on it so it will connect to the harness. just unplug it. remove all vaccum lines. you will get under your dash and remove the actuator cable that is connected to your gas pedal, remove all bolts and remove. then for the vaccum line that runs to the motor. just cap it off.....removed

you can also remove the cc computer under the dash too.

well i removed everything except the wire that goes into the firewall cuz i cant get it out. im gonna keep tryna pull it or sumthing cuzz it doesnt budge. also theres a little cup lookin thing that sits nex to the cruise control in the engine bay and it has a line connected to the cruise control i took it off but didnt take off that little cup cuz it has connections to another thing going sumwhere else. i belive the cup is black and green.
