Supercharger or Turbo
I am wondering wether I should put a supercharger or turbo on my b16a. It is in a crx and i have obd0 and I was wondering what I have to change over while doing either of the two. I was thinking of buying the jackson racing sc for the 99-00 civic si but didnt know if it would work since that motor is an b16a2. Links to sites with turbo kits or sc's would be much appreciated, thanks....

depends wher eyou want to go. turbo = slow spool(compared to SC) but more power as less draw on the engine. both need to be tuned. so plan on that and getting it tuned. or just run an FMU and get a JRSC ignition system. i dont know about fitment in the engine bay with the JRSC in the ef chasis w/ b series. i know hasport made a version to fit *shrug*, plenty of info on this forum, hit hte search button :D
supercharger
1) no lag
2)takes power to make power
3)fun car to drive
4)makes more power using different pulleys
5) has a more linear power band
6)easier install no oil lines to worry about
7) if done right its reliable
8) if using the hasport kit for your b16 the jrsc should fit
turbo
1) more boost at the turn of a ****
2) there's lag turbos need to spool up
3) peak horsepower
4) if done right there reliable
5) you got oil lines to worry about its a pain sometimes
it all depends were you want your power at and what are your horsepower goals personally im going with the jrsc its more of a fun car to drive and its an all around daily driver that can do it all.
