Default GSR-- Swap or Re-build...

I have a stock B18C1 motor with 141,k on it and cant decide whether to swap the motor or just rebuild it, and i have no idea where to go to do either in south-jersey
just need some ideas

thats kind of odd that you have te same username as another member here used to have (14eight). he is form CT though. if you want to get rid of the mileage factor on your engine you should just rebuild it. while your at it you can put in higher compression pistons, forged rods, etc for N/A or low compression pistons and such for a turbo application. may as well rebuild it stronger than stock. good luck.

Miles aren't very indicative of condition on Honda motors. Run compression/leakdown tests.. if everything comes out well then you have more time to work with. Hell, as long as the block is in good condition you could get it re-sleeved, bored, and have other blockwork done to it and turn it into a boost monster!
