i just swapped a jdm b16a into a 93 civic cx, i used a usdm gsr wire harness, jdm p30 ecu, the car runs fine but vtec isnt working.. where should i start to look to fix it.. wires? solenoid?

 

If you just did a swap then it's possible you wiring is off somewhere. Also check to make sure you're solenoid is getting oil. check your gasket filters and make sure they aren't clogged in any way. You might need a new solenoid if they aren't. If you know someone else with a vtec engine see if you can use theirs haha. It's kind of unconventional but it would tell you whether or not you need a new one.
