VTEC. Not Vtech, veeteck, vetech, veeteckh, etc
there is a JDM H23 VTEC. It came in accord wagons.

vtech is a phone! haha. anyways, if it is a h22/h23 hybrid be careful. I forgot the name of the team, but they went through 3 motors before they got this hybrid running correctly. It isnt that reliable, but yes it is powerful. just be careful someone isnt selling you the engine bc they couldnt get it running correctly. the h23a is a dohc non vtec engine, if it is vtec the vavle cover will say vtec and the block will read h23a.
there were 2 versions...a dohc and a sohc model. the higher of the two, the dohc, makes the same hp as the jdm h22a, 200ps (197hp). it has about 13ft-lb more torque though.

i'ts 220ps but only using an H22a ecu you can get near 215hp on that engine..
best option is to get the H23 vtec..swap cams for aftermarkets like crower or juns or maybe euro R intake cam + type S exhaust cam
then run it on a h22a spoon ecu
or even better..get a euro R int. manifold and use a mugen 1.8 ITR ecu
