Im trying to find a new transmission for my b16a. I could just buy a new b16 trans, but I was wondering if the CTR or ITR trans just bolts right up, just as easy as the stock b16 trans? Input would be helpful.
yes the ctr and itr bolt up. all b-series trannies bolt right up to any b-series motor. don't know how easy it is or beneficial for a ctr, but a itr

the itr? of coarse, but it's the most expensive and quite hard to find, unless you order straight from the dealer. the b16 has the same gear ratio but no limited slip like the itr (unless it's the jem b16a, where they came w/an optional limite slip), if you can get a b16 for cheap then pick just the limited slip and install it you be set. don't know if it's all worth it if a shop does it. it might come out to being the same as just ordering a itr.
I can only get my hands on a CTR b16 trans and im pretty sure they come with the limited slip already. Alrite well thanks for the help man.
