yo i got a b18a1 in a 91 crx
i don't have ac but the b18a1 motor did when i took it out of the car

i wunt to know what hoses could i take away from the intake?????
pics or any thing

i wunt to make it look more cleaner not all these hoses every where

Post a pic of what you have and we can help. I'll tell you right now you can toss the dashpots and the charcoal canister.

I see you're in nj so you gotta be carefull what you remove..Unless you know someone who can "hook you up" with a sticker....

Really you can remove alot and still have it running perfect..The charcoal canister,purge solenoid valve,dashpot(s),and all their vaccum hoses..Then just cap all the open nipples..On mine all i have is map sensor,fuel pressure regulator and brake booster...Everything else is tossed but i gotta put it all back in cause i got nj inspection in 2 months and im not paying $120 for the hook up......

 

can i get pic of what your talking about beczu i don'tkow what a dashpot is
and i can get a sticker for 50$$ from my sis's boy

Yeah i can get one for $50 to but those are the ones that peel off and the police are serious in this state about that ****....For a real one you're looking at atleast $100 ,,and thats from your couzin,,from a stranger you're talking +$150...

 

who know he's been pulled over alot for his blow off vavle and then never get onhim about the sticker

They are the circular things that are on the throttle body, with vac hoses running to them. Post a pic it will make this a lot easier.

That's all you need, everything else can go.

 

so then i don't need a egr vavle

and that purge solenoid valve is that that solenoid that is where???

 

You dont need the egr.

red is the purge solenoid and green is the charcoal canister,,toss all that..

You should get a OBD1 B18b intake mani


I have a 91 CRX si intake mani if thats what you are looking for...

 

nah man as of rite now i just gonna get the thing wired and running then i am gonna play with buying parts and **** i wunt to put a b16 head on my b18a1

but other wise if you know any one selling a crx si wire harness motor and mian

B16s don't have an EGR valve.

ok see how you say i can take my purge solenod away so does that mean that i can take them wires away 2 rite????

becuz my harness i have only has 2 wires forthat plug and i was wonder mabey it's becuz it's a 89 and they didn't have a purge solenod on them
