Does anyone knows that if I change the header, can I still use a cat? I'm having a 96 civic 4 doors (D16Y7 engine). The stock cat is just under the hood, in front of the engine, not under the car, if I change the header, there seem not enough space to put a cat after the header.....Please help....

 

you need a 96-00 EX cat, this has been covered a bizzilllion times

 

you're going to have to modify your exhaust system and bolt the exhaust manifold to a cat from any normal honda that didnt have the cat-on-manifold system (i think CX/VX where the only ones to use this) and then modify you're exhaust system to fit the extra lenght, a muffler shop should be able to do it relatively cheap and a used honda cat is decently priced in the marketplace, goodluck.

I've already have modified the whole cat back exhaust...
Not quite sure what is cat-on-manifold system, any link?
