yeah ive got this set up with 2.5'' piping and 14'' res. and its a little raspy im gonna go with the twin loop once i get some more $ i wouldnt waste my money for the sound isnt all that great

I got a stainless 4x9'' oval which would be the same thing I guess. It's kinda loud I guess. But I think the Sol traps in a lot of the noise. I've never actually sat outside the car to hear it run wide open. But, it is a lot quieter than my previous muffler which was more or less a fart cannon. I would recommend a magnaflow.
here's a video I made... wide open I can still hear the engine over the muffler. but at 3k rmp's, it mostly muffler...

i have a 4x9 magnaflow (#11216) and love it. 2.5" piping cat back. deep at low RPMs, but at normal cruising and highway speeds, its almost non-existent, unless you go WOT.
mine isnt raspy, or too loud. and you sure as hell cant beat it for the price.
