Default B18c1 obd1 in 99 ex

YO i got a big problem i finished swapping the gsr into my civic with a chipped p28 , right when i start it up it doesnt stay started unless i keep my foot on the gas, and when reved up to about 1.5-2k rpm the engine sputters like theres not enough gas or there is a misfire but reved passed that and its fine. any one have any idea what this could be??? i'd really appreciate some feedback thanks.

Check the IACV, and if u got a wideband check ur A/F ratio, if u got a FP guage, check ur fuel pressure as well...though it wouldn't make sense that it's not getting fuel if it's revving up fine...so it's probably the IACV (needs to be cleaned/changed) or the vacuum system is off (has a leak in it, sucking from some other place other than the intake...)

THere's a way to test the vacuum system for leaks, forgot how...do a search on that I guess...as for the IACV, cleaning it every now and then is good anyways IMO

If the vacuum system is completely sealed and the IACV is sealed & not clogged I would take another look at the ECU, make sure it's set up to immitate the P72... on the P72's stock fuel map

ya

It's not the dizzy...UNLESS, it's givin u breakup under acceleration, then it's possible, but a fucked up dizy won't ONLY give u problems at idle....it'll give ya breakup problems all 'round
