Due to the fact that my cat was about to clog up again (don't ask) I decided to screw it and have a test pipe installed. There is a local shop that is fairly reputable that fabricates them for $40. Well I went down today and had them make me a 2.25" test pipe. Sounds almost no different from stock. So far I am pleased. My question is why don't most people go this route? I mean it was pretty cheap and it works fine in my opinion. Your opinions please.
Possible because it is illegal, makes the back of ur car black, it stinks, and last but not least its bad for the environment. But that doesnt stop me
Why don't we have them made: most places won't do it due to laws.
Why don't I run one: cause the car smells like **** as well as all of your clothes when you get out. i had one for about a month and went back to a high flow cat.

Ok that's all I wanted to know. I'm in Alabama which doesn't give a crap about emissions. I've been running open header so I'm not that concerned about the smell.
