im taking my head to a shop to have it biult tomorrow and i need to know how much to mill it.
i have skunk 2 stage 1 cams
S2 valve springs

depends on what kind of results ur looking for... the more u mil the higher the compression will go up... but u gotta look for valve clearance as an issue too...

thats why i was asking if 25 would be ok beacecause this is gonna be a N/A motor so i wasnt high compression. i just need to know if there will be enough clearance

I'd say mill it .020 to be safe

I will have a similar setup but with USDM ITR pistons with OEM gasket

it should be enough.... id go for 15 or 20.. and after its done clay the motor to make sure its got the clearance needed... better safe than sorry

well the guy at the manchine shop can probably explain it better.. but its bascally taking clay putting it in each cylineder on top of the piston... complete put the motor back together.. well enough to get the valves and pistons in syn with each other so it like a operating motor... putting the head completely back together putting the timing belt on.. torquing the head down... you probably get my drift... but what happens is when you turn the motor like its running.. but you do it by hand so you dont damage anything.. since the clays inside the motor it makes a impression of the piston and valve clearance... once youve done your cranking take it all apart and measure the impression the valves and piston made in the caly and that tells you your clearance.. tells ya if you took to much off or if its right.. its alot of work.. but in the end it pays off b/c you dont want to put it all the together and then the first startup you bust the motor up b/c you thought you had enough clearance but you didnt

Just have it surfaced dont mill it. Then use the bottom two layers of the oem gasket. That way if you have a problem later down the road you can still mill the head and not junk it or use a thicker gasket.
