Default increase compression on lsv....

i was just wondering how can i increase compression on my lsv? (exept pistons) im still building it rght now... already have cams and camgears.... itb... what else.. i know you should take off the middle of the head gasket to increase comp..what else should i do?? thanks for the info guys!!!

use a gsr head as opposed to a b16 head

with a gsr head youll gain more compression using the same pistons compared to any other B series head so you can go with that as coronadrinker mentioned.

besides that theres the headgasket. and why wouldnt you want to build your motor with forged pistons?

mill the head or use a thin headgasket. neither of which are ideal.

any headgasket can only do so much. staying at low compression will seriously limit your potential if youre not boosting.

low compression = boost
high compression = N/A

i just dont have enough $$$ for pistons... but im thinking of boosting that lsv and selling the itb...

No offense, but if you need to ask a question like this, I don't think you should be messing with ITBs. I'd suggest selling them. Depending on what you have, you could almost buy an entire forged rotating assembly for the money you spent on a good ITB set-up
