Default Fluidampr underdrive question...

Hey guys, quick question. I have a Fluidampr "Race" on my B18C1, and when I went to get tuned we noticed that the car was charging at roughly 12.5V. I was told to get a new alternator because the low voltage could mess up the tune. I was wondering if, with the underdrive for the alternator, it would create lower voltage or lower current, Im trying to figure out if I need a new alternator or not. Please help me out here. Thanks!

The underdrive pulley may not spin the alt enough at idle to make any voltage. You should see some increase as soon as you rev it up.Put a multimeter on it and you should see the voltage go up to 14.5 volts or so.If you don't see an increase than it may be a bad alternator.
