Underdriven Alternator pulley question
Hey guys, I am gonna be running a 7" ATI race damper on my Integra, and since this particular damper comes with a 30% smaller alternator drive, I need a 30% (or close to 30%) smaller alternator pulley to compensate for this. Who do you guys know of that makes the smallest alternator pulleys? I couldnt find any specs on UR and AEM pulleys.
Also does anyone on this site makes custom pulleys?

I have read this question on another forum, why are you so so worried about this small underdrive? I already stated to you that I have an underdrive pulley on my alternator, I use to run 2 amps, headunit, subs, 5 gagues, boost controller etc and saw not 1 volt of drop, you have nothing to worry about. Why do you need a custom pulley?

Re: (96 GSR-T)
As I stated in my pm, the trouble is if you run the 7" race version ATI damper because the alternator drive is 30% smaller (on the damper). I need a smaller alternator pulley (close to 30% would be nice) to compensate for 30% smaller alternator drive on the damper.

Re: Underdriven Alternator pulley question
My question is:
Is it really needed to change alternator & P/S pulley if you run an underdrive crank pulley?
At idle, I agree that you would be running alt & P/S slower.
Now if the stock bits were revving to 7000rpm (on a LS for eg) and you are now revving to 9000rpm, would it not be better in the long term for the alt & P/S to run slower (esp at the top end), to improve life span?

Re: Underdriven Alternator pulley question
Bringing this thread back from the dead since I don't want to make a new one.
Just installed a brand new 7" ATi race damper on my Integra, and driving at night sucks, Lol.
Does anyone know what alternator pulley (must be smaller than stock) I can use to make up for the under-driven crank pulley (~30%)?
