Default 4" HKS filter - Looking for a real or knockoff 4" mushroom filter

I have a Full-Race Stage2GTAC (GT3076R) and the position of the turbo and radiator/fan is making it extra fun finding a filter for it. I don't think it is possible to fit any other type of filter without fabbing some sort of intake arm for it.

The only HKS filter for 4" turbo I could find is $90+shipping. Kinda pricy for some foam.... Anyone seen one cheaper or even a knockoff style that will work for 4"? I'm open to any suggestions.

Not really sure if this style filter is even going to clear...

I think I remember seeing where turbos have eat the foam on filters like that.

I'd try and find a universal k&n

and install that intake manifold already!

yeah foam filters suck man. If you're looking for one to run, you might try one of the blitz stainless filters.

or just not rock one

your gonna be even more pissed when you spend $90 on a foam filter and is costs you $1200 for a new turbo in return.
Go with a K&N man.

Lee, I am using the RU-2510 from K&N with no fitment issues whatsoever. What chasis is the motor in? The only thing I see posing a problem is the way the turbo is positioned with the A/C kit

The hks pieces are the ones that do it.. I would assume that hks resolved the problems though ,,(you would think)

Here is the K and N. It is really small and allows for alot of room. $30 shipped can not go wrong.

Just trying to help, Usually those filters are more expensive then the K & n which do the same thing and sometimes better. So I do not get the joke in that.

Thanks guys. With the amount of space available, something might have to be fabbed up. Even that small k&n won't work

sp00led, you just had to have 500whp AND a/c
