my first and second gear on my ep3 feels like it's slowing down or vtech is gettin lazy what could it be?what should i check first?

 

oil. VTEC works off oil pressure i think for its "kick."

Any check engine lights or indicator lights on the dash lighting up???

my check engine light is not on it just feels like it's slow getting up into second?

maybe cuz the Ep3's K20a3 isn't fast
