VTEC NOT WORKING
ok well you know how a gsr vtec works right?, it kicks in a little bit at first then it screams well i dont think it screams any more i cant really tell because i live in new england and its been raining for like 2 weaks

check your oil level...also check your VTEC pressure switch. how? disconnect the connector from the pressure switch (green plug thats connected to the solenoid attached at the end of your camshaft)

also vtec solenoid screen could be clogged - somehow - maybe cus its been rainin with vtak enguaged?

if you're not blowing a CEL, it's likely you have low oil levels - causing a loss in oil pressure - to which vtec will not engage. If the engine is not up to normal operating temperature you will be vtec-less.

its probably your IAB. vtec kicks in first and then the IAB. its your IAB that screams, not vtec. so check to see if the plug is bad or something and it wont pull a CEL as well. so if you do feel vtec @ the early rpms, then vtec works
