Car stopped......
I was coming from Los Angeles, CA. But, the car stopped on the highway. My car is 96 Integra LS with light mods. Suddenly, car was turned off on the highway and I just pull over to the side. After that, Car did not start.
A local mechanic in Banning, CA commented as "battery dead, put new battery in and just clicked, checked oil level, no oil registered on dipstick, turned crank & put oil in motor, Car started up with lots of internal engine noise and oil leak, upon further inspention, found oil leaking from left side of engine block, has approx 1 inch hole on engine block, recquire new engine."
My question is that what parts do I need to replace? Defenately, I need engine block. Do you think I should replace head as well? How about T-belt and water pump? Or I am thinkning to buy a complete swap.
I dont know which way is more efficient and cost-saving option. If youguys can help me out, it would be really great!!
Thanks

complete swap, It will save you money in the long run. Why rebuild a block to throw a old head on it. Doesn't make sence.
When you do your swap put a new timming belt water pump and such so you can start freash.
