Default IS DRIVING ON A BAD AXLE HARFUL TO OTHER PARTS?

i have a bad axle and i need to drive to deliver parts, Will i ruin hub or anything? will the axle snap? Thanx

what's wrong with it? regardless, you should be alright witheverything else except the axle.

"Bad axle"--bad how? If it's just clicking, NP. (For a while...)

If it breaks badly enough, say on the freeway, the broken-off end of the axle could easily flail around and smash the hell out of everything it touches. That would also probably make you lose control on the freeway, which could be slightly hazardous to your health. (Small understatement.)

But that's an exceedingly unlikely thing. I know a number of people who drove on clicking axles for months. One friend said, "It clicked when I turned--I eventually replaced it when it clicked going straight". I personally wouldn't let it go that far, but....
