Electrical wiring?
Hey guys .... newb here.
My friend has a 1997 Civic HX and it has been throwing a "check engine soon" light, we hooked it up to a computer and it said "engine misfire" although there is no sign of misfire. I already replaced the spark plugs (originals) but the light came back on. I am planning on replacing the wires next, my question is which brand of wires should work fine with this car? I know some cars are picky about plugs and wires, etc.
Also, I have also noticed her car idles at a very low RPM (300rpm or so and even lower when the A/C comes on). Is this normal in these kinds of cars? or should I bump up the idle RPM?
Sorry if some of these are noob questions, but I am not very familiar with this car. Many thanks in advanced!
