Ok well i just put in a new engine mount and my car still shakes and vibrates like crazy. The old engine mount was blown. It never did this before, it started after the swap was done and i was told it was the blown mount but after it was replaced it still shakes. The only thing i can think that it is, is the exhaust rubbing against the body and causing vibrations. But im probably wrong. What do you think it could be???????

Its a 98 ex with b18c gsr , innovative mount, and skunk catback exhaust.

Ok so your car shakes and vibrates... under what conditions specifically?

It COULD be:

wheel bearing

axles

rack end bushing

wheel balance

front ball joints

bad motor mount (rare)

 

Describe the shaking....where does it feel like it's coming from?

 

well my driver side door shakes alot. And when the car is at idle around 1,000rpm's it vibrates slightly. And while im driving, it seems the faster im going the more it shakes. Steering wheel shakes alot. And its not constant shaking .... it can be smooth sometimes but it shakes most at 3,000rpms

 

misfiring? maybe a thought...I dont know, good luck though
