the y7 header has an extension pipe hooked up to it from the cat side of the stock header to the exhaust
remove that
add whatever u header u choose then add a honda cat
they both meet the exhaust at the same spot

if u still dont get it
lemme break it down 4 u

y7 header+extension pipe=y8/aftermarket sohc header+honda/aftermarket cat

Same question here. The headers I bought already came with the sensor wire extended, and I unplugged the battery and the CEL still comes on. What to do? Im using the headers with the stock exhaust piping and muffler.

i thought i explained that they are the same length because the y8 header doesnt have or need an extension pipe because it has a cat

y8 header+cat=y7 header+extension pipe
