What guage wiring should I use to jump some switches in my EJ1?
It's pretty simple, I left my headlights on again, and it drained my battery, and now I'm really pisssssed off (because I swapped out the clear stock bulbs in teh cluster for amber bulbs...so if it's dusk the amber lighting doesn't really appear visable and I forget I turned them on)
So I'm hooking up a buzzer TODAY, I've had it with this crap, have my car on a trickle charge now..
So I'm going to jump the two switches from the fuse box and hopefully when the door is open (switch 1) and the headlights are on (switch 2) the buzzer will go on....
'cause I'm going to RIT, and it's alllll a bunch of rich *** white people or asians on full scholarships...so I guarantee you none of them is gonna have a jumper pack with 'em b/c they're all gonna have their brand new '07 parents purchased going away present like a Maxima or some other car that their rich *** parents will think is a good investment and a safe choice for hteir beloved kids -- and I have to leave my booster pack at my house due to other battery problems around here..I just can't afford for my battery to die up there :-\
Reason I ask the guage is because I need it to be able to withstand a 40amp fuse (headlight fuse) without melting...so what guage wire would I need? Or if the ampage is higher for the headlights (not sure what the headlight ampage fuse is) a guage that can withstand that...
Thx for your help
Sorry about all the questions I've been asking recently, I really do apologize, it's just liike summer blew by so quickly and already I'm going to be going back to school in late august and now I'm rushing to get everything done b/c I wanna hook all this **** up before I go back - and damn do I got a laundry list of **** to put in before I go...
thxthxthx
