just got to swapin a b18b in my 94 civic coupe...\

but it wont start, alll i can hear is a click coming from the starter.....

i already check for gtounds, charge battery, for fuses,,,, except for a starter relay if there is one,,,, but i cant find it, is the starter relay same as the main relay??

make sure that one little wire going to the starter is on there tight. Mine came loose and did the same thing.

 

i already check for that wire.. but thanx anywaysss

If your starter relay was messed up your electronics would activate when switching to II and then once hitting III on iginition everything would turn off and the engine wouldn't even click. I'd check the dizzy

Well, check your battery again...or just swap in someone else' battery

Hmm. Could be a main fuse, though you said you checked fuses. I remember when my Ford Probe did this, it was because the postitive battery wire was too old and weak, I replaced the head of the positive battery connector and it ran perfect. Could be the same for the negative terminal as well. And I as well thought it was the main relay, though your relay could be fried. Take off the old relay, and relay it yourself with some thick grade wire

Did your car have some kind of alarm before the swap?

u think the alrm could be the problem???

 

Well if your alarm isn't wired properly it will seize you from starting your car, or if you took the alarm out and never patched the old wiring back up, you'll have this problem

did the car start up fine before you did the LS swap? did you put all your grounds back on?

 

yes it starter before i did the swap... all the grounds are hook up.....


starter cames out but it wont spin....

auto zone says that is mess up

So what's stopping u from knowing the starter isn't jammed/broken?

 

well i just got a new battery, new starter and doing the same thing... wat else could it be.... even change main relay...

 

any ideas??????
