starter cut relay
did serch, couldnt find much info.
can anyone tell me where the starter cut relay is on a 99 em1?
the problem is that the the starter wont turn the engine. when i turn the key i hear the fuel system prime, then when i swich it to III i hear one click from the starter solenoid, then nothing.
im guessing i need a new starter but im testing all variables before i actually remove the starter.

if it was the relay you wouldnt hear the solinoid click, to be sure it is the starter take a DVOM or volt meter and Check battery voltage then check the voltage to the 12 volt constant on the starter you shouldnt have more than a 0.1 - 0.5 volt drop, then unplug the solinoid wire have your boi turn the key over you shoul get battey voltage at the solinoid if you dont then you go to the relay it probably is the starter just tap on the starter while you have one of your boi's try to crank it over
