if my speedo on my dast stop working does that mine my speed sensor on my tranny need to be replace.. let me know help thanks jose... and on speed sensors does auto and manual ones work for both tranny are they inchangable..

 

do the rest of your guages still work? more then likly its your speedo sensor. to my knowledge, all vss are interchangable, but someone else might want to back me up on that.

i had the same problem

pull the vss plug and check if its wet. pull it out and if you hear a hissing sound when plugging it back in, theres fluid in the plug

just take a paper towel or toilet paper and twist it and stick it in the plus to get any fluid out

I had the same problem and the pins on the plug that connects to the vss were all coroded. I just bought a new plug and soldered it on.
