Default turbo d-series

How reliable is this set up going to be mildly tuned? Which turbo kit? Would I be better off doing a b16 swap? How much should it cost to install? thanks

While there is some good info on here, you should go over to http://www.turbod16.com and check things out there. The whole site is dedicated to asnwering questions like yours.

Mildly tuned - it will be very reliable, provided that you DONT skimp on parts. Buy the good parts, and it will be very reliable.

Turbo kit - If you must go with a kit, I would go with the Edlebrock kit. My suggestion is to learn and do more research and piece together your own custom kit.

B16 swap - B16 swap costs what, at least 2-3k? And then you're still n/a. The turbo D-series will be faster than an n/a B18, so obviously faster than a B16.

Cost to install - depends on whether you do a custom kit or pre-fabbed kit.
