I think somethings seriously wrong....a question for the wise
So i come home one day after work, nothing different with the car, leave it in front of my house. I go out later to start it an nothing happens. So i first thought my starter was dead. Tested it while it was on the car, put 12v to the small wire on the starter, nothing. So i got another starter, put it on, did nothing. So i checked my old starter out of the car and it worked just fine. Im getting power to the starter, nothings cracking or making a sound. So i turn my ignition on, get out of the car, send 12v to the small wire (which should start the car and have it runing) but nothing happens.
Long story short, i think something is ceased in my motor. it rolled down my driveway into my garage fine in neutral, but now its in the garage i put it in 1st gear and tried turning the motor over (dont kno how hard it is to do) and it just moves the cam gears alittle bit, nothing to satisfy me. I know the ignition works, it gets power so i think somehting is ceased or f'd up Thanks to whoever reads this and/or gives their opinion.
p.s. 93 del sol, jdm b16 swap, 94 del sol hydraulic tranny (just bought like a month ago with 60,xxx miles, had a mechanic check it out before i put it in my car, gm synchro mesh w/ friction modifier fluid)

im sure battery is fine if he tested the wires to giving the starter the voltage it needs to work as he stated. but to make sure your getting spark, when you turn your ignition to the on position does your dash board light up?
yea it lights up, i have power, all grounds are good
put it in 3rd tryn to crack it over, it goes, but then theres a point when it seems to grab but if i push hard enough it over comes that point and releases, but it torques the engine alittle at that point and when it releases it doesnt seem smooth at all. The starter doesnt even crank or anything, like it doesnt have enough power to move the flywheel. I think im serious f'd

If your motor seezed up then your car wouldnt crank at all, its most likley a bad starter syl. wire. If you are so set on the motor being seezed then roll it down the drive way with the ignition to the on postion and pop the clutch in first gear with your foot on the gas. if it just kinda locks up then you are right about the seezed motor, if your car starts to go then its the starting system, which completley seperate from the ignition system.

its too late to kickstart it anywhere, my driveway goes downhill into the back of my house and my car is tin the garage, i kno the starter is fine, i know electrical is fine, i know my battery is fine, i know its getting power. When i put it in gear and push it gets to a point and grabs hard, so i push harder, then it lets go but not smooth at all.
ive turned the ignition on, and jumped 12volts to the small starter wire, it should start the motor or atleast crank, it DOESNT. Its nothing electrical...
well, he did say it was running the night before just fine...so i dont see how the motor can be siezed now that i think of it. check for squirrels! no seriously just try jump start it and see what happens
Check the ground that connects to your tranny, it may have wiggle loose enough to not ground your starter good enough.
I have had that happen. All electrical was golden just no start. Got a better ground to my tranny and started right up.
Worth a try. It may be hard to see under the coolant lines, airbox, hydro tranny lines, etc but is under there.
