ac doesn't work with Hondata s200
I installed the Hondata system a couple of years ago, when I didn't have a/c on the car..now I've re-installed a/c and the compressor won't engage.
I hook up my original ECU, the car ofcourse runs terrible, but the a/c compressor comes on.
question for Hondata-gurus
1.) could it be possible that the a/c output is disabled via Hondata?
2.) could it be possible that I have a non-a/c ecu?
3.) any ideas on a remedy besides the obvious.
I think I might just wire the compressor output to a 2 position switch if all else fails.

1.) Yes
2.) No idea (hopefully/surely others will know)
3.) Check wiring, then check the A/C tab in Hondata. You might have it being disabled starting at a very low RPM or a very light load.

wiring is OEM, not modified and AC works with the stock ECU, so I know the only issue is the Hondata ECU.
I'm going to have a friend hook up his laptop and we are going to find out if the cutoff is setup way too low.
