Question for those of you running Eagle Rods your H22A
not to sound like a noob but could someone please explain the 'different size' of bearings to me? how do you know, how are they sized, and WHY?
you know what's wierd - ALL The bearings in my 2000 sh (h22a4) were exactly the same as far as i could tell from markings. none were "colored," and the block was stamped "4 4 4 4 4." i looked hard, not a bit of color anywhere. they were all plain old metal.
now that could be very bad luck (isn't 4 bad luck in feng shui?) or very good. anyone else taken apart a 2000+ block?

typically with eagle rods i have seen nothing but green bearings. the difference between the largest and smallest honda-acura bearing is the average difference in a domestic bearing. I dont think you could go wrong.

what part of the bearing is colored!?!?!
the sides, i assume? is it a teensy dot or something? or is there one type that's not colored, and i just by chance got only those?

you match the numbers on your crank with another number which is from the rods. then you go to your honda manual and match the two numbers together and they give you a color, then you know what to ask for at the dealer.
