NEED HELP TAKING OUT FRONT STUDS ON A 96 GSR
THE THINGS TO BOLT THE LUG NUTS TO ONE IS STRIPPED AND I NEED TO REPLACE IT....BUT I CAN TAKE IT OUT IVE GOT THE DISKS OUT NOW ITS JUST THE HUB AND THE STUDS BUT I HAVE NO ROOM TO PUSH THE STUD BACK TO TAKE IT OUT?
On my rears I just banged them out and and they came out but it would depend on how short they have broken off to. After that i got them in as far as I could then put my wheel back on lowered the car down and tightened the nut until it pulled the stud through.
For my fronts I replaced them with ARP extended studs so I had to take the hub off, bang the old ones out and bang the ARP's in. I used a slide hammer to get the hub off, and it sucked.
You may have to take the hub off to replace them.

get one of those plier clamper thingys. I forgot what they are calling, but these pliers tighten very very hard, and you can take your stud out, if someone knows what it is called, please say
