Default Recharging my Air Conditioning??? 96' Integra

Hey guys, what do i have to do/get to recharge my AC??? Blowing nothing but hot air now, and its getting way to hot to not have AC in my daily driver.

Go to you local auto store and buy the recharge kit, make sure it come with the gauge so you wont over or under fill. I would check back in about a week to see if the pressure is the same so you know there is no leaks.

Should you vent the refrigerant in there already and completely refill the system? Also don't you have to add refrigerant oil or something like that? I looked at my Helm's but it only shows the procedure using a big machine that auto shops have.

The can with the tester gauge is something like $20...I prefer the cans with the connector built-in, they're $12 at walmart. They come with refrigerant, oil, all together. Turn the car on and the a/c to full blast. Then connect it to the low side port which has the blue cap, then press the button. On the $12 cans, you can see the refrigerant flowing into the system, and you know when the can is empty. You'll probably hear the compressor turn on after the pressure builds enough. Then just check the pressure with the gauge.

R134a..The kit has directions so dont worry.
