Action 2KS clutch owners!(or anyone) Do you have this problem?
UPDATED

-Well..opened up my tranny this past weekend and whoopee! my flywheel, pressure plate and disc seem to be all warped! Also, the squeaking was from the t/o bearing rubbing on the shaft; the lube had dried up like a desert. I had to literally use a rubber mallet to force the t/o bearing out. Here are the pictures:

FRESHLY RESURFACED!

I now have an Action 2MD and that sucka bites fast and hard!!!!

OLD POST BELOW
It seems like my Action 2KS clutch does NOT like heat or repeated "beatings." At the track, the first two runs will are great! But after the third and beyond, the clutch just won't grab, and if it does it seems like it's slipping. Happens all the time when I drag or auto-x.
The kit has roughly 10k on it, master and slave are almost brand-new. There have been a couple of times where my pedal has stuck to the floor. I'm planning to replace the slave one of these days or rebleed the whole system(I'm running Motul DOT 5.1 in the clutch, shouldn't affect it? Right?).
I do have some squeaking when i depress my clutch pedal, the sqeak coming from inside the tranny(my guess is the fork/pivot is no longer lubed and needs lube).
Any of you guys have this problem or similar problems? Any suggestions? Thanks, 8)

i had the exact same problem with my spec stage 2 clutch, (which also has a kevlar face)
I believe the kevlar cannot handle the heat of constant abuse.
since then i switched to a comp clutch stage 4, and it rides just as smooth but holds the power, and does not slip

I run the 2MS and dont have that issue.
are you sure you did not get oil on it during installation?
how much power are you making
platinum.

Thanks for the reply; I too think that the kevlar cannot withstand the constant heat created from repeated abuses. Maybe it's time to re-do with another kit. That Comp stg.4 looks pretty interesting, i might have to try that out too. 8)

I'm positive on the no oil issue, i'm currently rated at 274whp and 204tq and i'm looking to make even more power with a new intake manifold and forged internals. 8)

from what i recall with other kevlar disc owners, they all had the same issue.
do a search, cuz i remember someone mentioning the same issue we both had and with the action 2ks.
th disc will last forever, but does not hold up to heat

I know for sure it's not the slave as it's new, but there is a sqeak noise coming from inside the tranny whenever the clutch pedal is depressed and so i'm thinking either it's the pivot point/fork or the pressure plate. Thanks for the reply! 8)

You can use any brake fluid dot 3 and up. I personally use Motul DOT 5.1. 8)

well i havent posted anything about what happened to mine so ill tell you...
I was running the 2MD for about 2 years, held up well...until i started making over 600hp. I took it out to the track...and the clutch pedal stuck to the floor...coasted through the traps, put it on the trailer and took it home...cause i knew the clutch was toast. Took it apart, and i had broken the pressure plate in 3 spots. Just looks like they dont hold up to higher hp. lol

my 2ks seems to do ok.
i was at boti a couple weeks ago...after my 3rd run and i was going up for my 4th, i decide to turn the car off for a bit, after that, the car decided not to turn back on. i was getting fuel and spark, but the car just wouldn't catch. i left it on the side for about an hour and it started back up like nothing. but i don't think that'd be a clutch problem? or could it?

i run the 2ms with about 400whp 300wtq with no problems what so ever. i also have heard that the kevlar dick last forever but doesent hold up well to heat or abuse and will start to slip after its gets hot. thats why i went with the 6 puck
not forced inducted, but im running it on my lude and so far its holding up great.....although its only got 600 miles on it
i've gone out and one run after run after run and it never slips, but im not running near the power you guys are.
