Default JDM D15 VTEC

on average, how much do these go for. first, just the motor. then, with ecu and wiring?

I got mine for $255(from a Honda Tech member) but the average is like $300-350(Just the motor).

I believe HMO is selling there complete swap for a lil $700 total I think. It's $435 for the motor and then another $150 for the tranny and another $125 for the ECU. I'm not sure if that's a deal or not, but that's what they sell it for. http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...30019

900 shipped from nagano japanese with 29000k miles exact and there motors are very decent havent had to change not one thing on it 900 shipped with the tranny and all

well here's my situation, i am currently looking for a jdm d15 vtec motor and i just saw that for and extra 150 i can get a hydro tranny. what if any modifications am i going to have to face. my car is a st.d hatch. i do have an si tanny though on the stock motor. (cable) info needed

Well if you still have the Si tranny from the EF hatch, then I'd say stick wif that and just get the motor.

I would pass on the trans it's not needed. I'm not even sure if there is a cable to hydro d series conversion kit, but I would guess that there is. The p08 ecu can get pretty expensive if you don't buy it with the swap because they're pretty rare. If you can get it for $125 do it.

OOps i just looked at my reciept. This is exact here:

95 Honda d15bVtec Longblock All sensors and harness - 300
Oem Distributor-50
p08 Ecu-100
California Tax -34.87
Total-484.87
I did my own wiring, so no rywire thingy.
