Default Bah, trouble shooting bad exhaust note. Need some help.

Alrighty, this is the situation.

I had, DCsports 4-1, stock cat, APEXI WS2. Car sounded great, but the N/A headers were choking my setup. So I moved to something else.

Kamikaze Header with 2.5" collector, Omnipower 2.5" test pipe, and Apexi WS2.

Got everything on the car, took it out for a test drive. Performance was great, super happy with it... but omfg I had a HORRIBLE rattling raspy note between 2500-3000rpms. More or less the RPMs in which I fall to during normal driving.

So, went back in, put the car back up on the lift. We clamped the 3 pieces of my test pipe as it sounded like that was the point where it was rattling. This wasn't my problem. Now, my collector is DEFINITELY touching my oil pan... I'm thinking this is my issue. My problem is... what can I do to get it about 1/4-1/2" off the oil pan?

I'm thinking maybe a spacer? Any ideas?

It might be the no cat, I have a 4-2-1 header, skunk2 testpipe, and tanabe hyper medalion and it has a rasp in that same rpm. Just had to learn to live with it, or put the cat back on. I'm tempted to try a resonated testpipe like the megan and see if that gets rid of it.
