Default skunk2 or blox racing intake manifold?

the question is if i get either one of these intake manifold will i have to change my stock gsr throttle cable and bracket. or if any one has it already done it and kept there stock one. and i want to see pic of ur setup so i can get some ideas. i really dont want to change it but i have to , some peeps say use a integra type r throttle cable and bracket. since the b16 and type r heads are so what the same, can i use b16 cable and bracket. what are prices that i might end up spendin for those items. please help me out.

im sure i read somewhere on the site you can keep your gsr throttle cable and bracket, but also you have to change your ecu to the type r one or something because the gsr is a butterfly intake manifold, if you search you will find your answer

whichever you decide to get make sure you get a hondata IM gasket. My Blox IM got heatsoaked very very badly with the stock gasket

not necessarily better, but cheaper YES! Theyre basically the same exact thing. If you wouldve searched, you wouldve seen that this topic and the topic of different intake manifolds/installs/etc have been covered a numerous amount of times. Check the archives as well...

you dont need it but for a cleaner install its worth it..they arent expensive either

for a clean install you will need
type r throtle cable/bracket
type r upper/lower pcv hoses
LS "butterfly bracket" (or you can mod the gsr one)

trust me when all said and done the results are worth it..btw i see you lin in CA..if you can afford the difference i would run the skunk2 because its smog legal..CA cops love giving out ref tickets
