hi, i was wondering if anyone knew what problem my car has. when i turn the key to start the ignition it just clicks and wont even turn over. when i try to jump start it it turns over and over but wont start. any idea what this could be?

 

are you getting fuel and spark?

 

Does it only happen when it's insanely hot outside?? Check your main relay.

 

My 96 was doing about the same thing. I took the entire starter apart and rebuilt (cleaned) it. Hasn't failed me since. It's worth a try...
